Date/Time setting - Mile/Kilometer conversion

I live in Lebanon and I have a MB CLK 320, 2003 imported from the states. It has a large screen with a navigator. I don't know how to set the time of my country, it give me a list of countries, but Lebanon is not in the list. Another thing, does anybody know how to change the distance unit from Mile to Kilometer?

Hi, The time is set threw your head unit. Go to the settings menu and find a country in the same time zone as you. To change to kilometers, it is set threw your instrument cluster, also threw the setting tab with your steering wheel buttons.

What is the rate per kilometer?

Hello Pieter Crous,

Since this half thought is posted against "cars & trucks"
(free service ...
(no charge for making the question clear/complete)).

One could probably assume YOUR QUESTION has to do with another relevant factor (typically associated with the physics: inside the general area of a "kilometer"... vehicular... ET AL)...

Fixya is a USA site so we use a "mile factor of 0.62137119
to equate MILES to kilometers when we need to do so...
(not often).

I did go back to your history...
Sadly found no other clues for your riddle...

Bugs in teeth in a kilometer for example: would require
additional vehicular detail.

Is a wind-screen equipped and in use?

Likewise tire consumption inside a kilometer... could only be determined by taking physical factors like tire (tyre) size, surface, incline... weight, surface, slope... type of tire and of course speed.

Principle in the requisite detail would be MAKE, MODEL & YEAR... NONE of which came through with your question...

After that would be how & where the vehicle is being used... engine & transmission equipage...?

Oil pressure warning keeps coming on.

Without any more information I'm going to simply "spitball" an answer.

It COULD be oil starvation caused by high mile/kilometer sludge in the engine which slows the return of the oil to the pick up screen of the oil pump. Starving the oiling system.

It COULD be low oil level which would cause the oil pump to starve.

It COULD be a faulty sensor/sender causing the warning message.

Being you said "on the motorway" I'm simply guessing this is the only time the happens and NOT when driving at slower speeds/RPMs.

Hope this helps.

Clk 320 alarm lights(indicator Lights)flashing randomly when car is locked. it comes on and off by it self.no sireen sound. any help please

hello, i live in Mexico and I got the same issue with my MB, the problem is the Alarm Battery, it must to be replaced. Meanwhile remove Fuses 8 and 9 (into the trunk) and 41 (next to dashboard), this will disconnect the anti theft system. for safety when lock/unlock the car press the remote in front of the infrared port. Good luck solving this issue, for me was very very stressing.

Anyone have practical experience to change the spark plugs on a 2000 Merc CLK 230K yourself or to get a MB garage to do them?

Hi there. Changing sparks plugs on a CLK is relatively easy, assuming you have the right tools and some knowledge of having changed spark plugs before. However, even on a relatively simple job such as changing spark plugs, things can go wrong, perhaps you don't have the proper equipment and you strip a thread, or perhaps the plugs are seized. If you want to avoid the expensive MB Dealer prices, I suggest you take your Benz to any reasonable Tuning Shop who will have the tools, the expertise and experience in undertaking this job for you. Hope this helps, Scottech.
