Do you know WTF youre talking about?!?! Good, I need you!!!! My Kia just started cutting out going down the highway and its making a wierd fluttering noise when I eccelerate especially lower speeds I

I have 1.6, auto tranny, SOHC, and it also has lost power, cant decide which gear it wants at times, and my gas milage is WAY down from usual... I cant afford to just randomly throw parts at it but which do you think I should check out first or am I missing the mark entirely here?? I think it may be a little over-full on tranny fluid too... is that bad? ~Brandy

SOURCE: 00' Kia Spectra. Change auto transmission fluid

If your gonna do it yourself, then, sure replace the filter as well. If you have one of those exchange machines do it, the machine, in my experience, gives a reading while it's exchanging. Apparently the lower the reading, the less flow thru the system, usually meaning the filter. Hope this helps.

Blower motor thermal cut off

Obviously, you are talking about your vintage 1932 Chevy Coupe. I know that's the vehicle because you did NOT say that it WASN'T!

The fluttering sound is probably dry leaves that got stuck in the blower assembly! Suck them out with a shop vac!

Engine cuts out driving down the highway but will start right up again. Check engine light does not come on

HOW MANY MILES? Where/ how has vehicle been driven: (loads of miles in in dusty conditions?) have you checked for a plugged fuel filter? or tested the fuel pump? inspected wiring to the fuel pump? how about the gas cap -- seriously! there could be a vapor lock going on... is this random or is there some pattern to when it cuts out? (say after so many miles etc?)

Stability system engaged wtf?

This system usually kicks on when it thinks the wheels are spinning out. Thus...it slows the wheels to regain control. It can also happen in the rain when the car senses it is hydroplaning. If none of these things are possible, it's probably a broken sensor or something.

My 2002 Kia sportage overheats when the air conditioner is on.

1. Check your coolant level- check at the radiator when cool, also.
2. Check to make sure that there is unblocked airflow to your radiator and a/c condensor (similar to the radiator)- blow compressed air or water from the back out the front of the fins... to make sure they aren't blocked.
3. Make sure the water pump is still circulating the coolant.
4. Also, may sound wierd but check your engine oil level too... it's part of the cooling process..
