Where is the fuse for the horn on a 1999 cadillac deauville

It snowed one night & the snow was so heavy it moved the hood ornament forward which sounded the horn, this went on for 30 minutes, before our neighbor rang the doorbell & told us. It stopped on its own, dying out. We would like to check the fuse to see if that would repair our horn, it doesn't work at all now. Thank you

SOURCE: Horn in 1990 Cadillac Seville doesnt work

If you hear the relay clicking, and even faint horn, check the connections on the horns themselves, there are probably two. If they seem okay then take a piece of wire and jump from +power to the horn terminal. Be prepared because if it works it will be very loud, and I know more than one person who's hit his head on the hood doing this. If it doesn't work, replace the horns. Hope this helps. Cheers.

SOURCE: I have a 1999 Cadillac deville wipers spotted working.

hi this sounds like the linkage has either snapped or has simply come off the ball joint if you can still hear your wiper motor running this will be it, they are a bit awkward to get to but normally a simple repair. lift your hood ( sorry ime from uk excues me for wrong use of parts lol) and look near windscreen area where the wipers are . look into the gaps vent gaps you will see the linkage put wipers on and see if there is any movment in there, if not then it will be that...hope this sorta helps

More then likely the horn relay is stuck closed ,sounding the horns all the time . The horn gets power from the power seats circuit breaker ,no fuse . Relay located in under hood relay center .

Windshield wipers stopped working with heavy snow cover

The windshield wiper circuit has an circuit breaker in it, under heavy load this breaker trips to protect the wiper motor, when the motor cools, the breaker resets automatically restoring proper wiper action.

Why does my horn not work when it is cold, does it freeze up?

It shouldn't freeze up unless there is snow or ice inside it. More likely it is the horn relay causing the problem. Check the owner's manual for the location of the horn relay and replace it. It should be in or near the fuse box or in the high amp fuse box under the hood.

After a heavy snowfall, I turned on the windshield wipers and now they don't work.Yes I had heavy snow on the windshield

Check for a blown fuse. With the heavy snow, the blades probably were prevented from moving which would have caused the wiper motor to overheat and blow a fuse.

2001 sonata wiper fuse keeps blowing

If the fuse blows as soon as you put it in and the wipers are off then you have a short between the fuse block and the wiper switch.

If the fuse blows only when you turn the wipers on then more than likely the wiper motor has shorted and burned out. This one is very likely if the snow storm was heavy and you was driving in it. Cause- Moving large amounts of snow and ice off the window puts a heavy load on the wiper motors.
