SOURCE: 1997 honda accord with power windows....driver

Before you change make sure there is power on the board , if so the circuit must be checked for delivering voltage as the switch is pressed. the switch can be checked with a multimeter for continuity. Only if there is power to the motor without response must the motor be changed. if not the fault can be the control circuit board, maybe failure of the motor driver.

SOURCE: Problem with the 1998 Honda Accord Power Window

Looks like you are going to have to take the door apart for inspection. There is a good chance that the half moon jumped a couple of teeth and that the mechanicals between the electric motor and the scissor window raising mechanism is out of sequence. Once the door panel is taken apart, it is a rather simple task, to loosen the scissors, raising the window by hand, and re-tightening after you have shifted the whole assembly a couple of teeth. Remember not to place the window up to the exact top spot, but rather a little higher ( so that the window tries to keep going after it is fully up). This in order to insure a tight rain / road noise seal, the motor will recognize the extra load, and will stop working when the window glass is tight against the top frame.

92' honda accord lx when hot does not want to start

You need to repair or replace your car's main power relay. It is a known fault on those early 90's Accords. When it gets hot, it fails and won't supply power to the fuel pump or distributor. Have it replaced.

My passenger window won't go down

you should check the fuses first, then ensure power to the motor in the passenger side if no power check the switches for the power windows. Also it is common for window motors/ regulators to fail and have to be replaced. If the driver's one is running slowly remove door panel and lubricate the cables and tracks with some rust check or wd 40 etc, etc... and silicone lube on the guide tracks at either end of the window. hope this helps
