SOURCE: Ford Focus ZX5 - Rear brake lights stay on when car is running and in gear

Hi, you have suffered a major electrical short here, and the car is telling you via the light signals that you need to take care of this in a garage. The original short burnt cables, which is why there is visible signs of melting, smell etc. I know it will involve a cost, but consider the value of your life if the car was to go on fire with you or your family in it? Another short will cause such a fire, get to a garage soon!

SOURCE: ford focus keeps stalling

I suspect it is a problem with the evaporative emission system. Basically, it collects vapors from the fuel tank and stores them in a charcoal canister in the engine compartment. It thens purges them into the engine when the engine is warm and running at road speed. You may be dumping too much vapor because your canister is filling with fule as well as vapor.

Do you try to "nurse" teh tank full at the fuel station? If yes, you may be flooding the canister.
Try just filling it 3/4 each time & see if problem goes away.

After your discription of P0300 and P1305, would this cause the car to surge and jerk after it warms up?

This points towards the number 2 cylinder ignition coil or ignitor circuit malfunctioning. If it is intermittent, your car will have and lose power, making the engine run like a bucking bronco. A diagnosis is in order, it could be a wiring issue or a bad spark plug causing the symptom. Could also be ignition coil or ignition module. Should be a quick repair. 25315923-dz1fkxf1fwolart5ai0divhk-5-0.jpg

Trouble code p0141-heat oxygen sensor bank1 sensor 2

Hey I had a similar problem with my '02 Focus. The problem was the actual wiring into the distributor. The wire into cylinder 1 and 3 broke (but were very difficult to see) and was giving me codes as well. Pretty common problem in that age of the focus. It made my focus hesitate and chug until the temps came up. I went to the junk yard, found a focus with a rewired module (with a heavier gauge wire), replaced it and magic. Hope that helps

I suggest that you immediately go to an AutoZone and get a free diagnostic scan. That is the only methodology that will pinpoint your problem.

Get the codes and I'll instruct you on how to fix the problem.

It could be a spark plug, plug wire, or a coil. Sometimes thay break down intermittently. If it needs a tuneup, that would be the first thing to do.
