My car started shaking and vibrating vigorously here recently when I'd first crank it and let it idle. I ran it to the store and parked it in the driveway. no problems. i try to leave for work the next morning. It acts as if its out of gas. it will turn over but won't crank. i hear my Fuel pump turn on, but often after a couple tries, there is a loud popping that sounds like it is coming from under the driver's side. From time to time it will begin to crank then shut off. I've got juice in the battery, it was recently replaced along with the voltage regulator for the alternator. But i'm still unsure of what the solution could be

I had same problem with my 2002 Sonata. Turned out to be Ignition switch relay under the hood. $22 part from dealer. Check ignition fuses under hood also.

It may take as much as 60 PSI to overcome the fuel pressure regulator. No, you can't blow through it. I suspect you have a fuel starvation issue. It could be a clogged fuel filter. It may more likely be a pressure leak inside the tank. That pressure gauge you mentioned comes highly recommended at this point. There is a flexible line connecting the pump to the metal line in the tank. If it ruptures, you have only minimal pressure, and the vehicle starves for fuel. Using the gauge, turn the ignition on and off a couple of times, (do not start) If the filter is choked, you will still achieve pressure to overcome the regulator. If it never makes that much pressure, then it is the flex or the pump itself. My first experience with this I found the rupture after the third pump! Embarrassing!

SOURCE: Starting problems with my 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
I have an 03 Santa Fe as well and just had the exact thing happen to me. One day, it just wouldn't turn over at all and I had to have it towed to the dealer. They replaced the "crank shaft position sensor" and now the car is fine. I am not sure if this is your problem but it might be worthwhile asking someone to check it out.

SOURCE: 2004 hyundai accent. trouble filling gas tank
The fill tube for the fuel tank is either clogged with something or the anti-siphon feature (what stops people from stealing your gas) is fouled up. The tank and fill tube have to be inspected.
