The MB key is keyless. It's used to open all doors and start the car. It's not working and the car is locked. Does any one know how to get the car unlocked. I don't have a key.

To arm content theft alarm. 1. Open the door. 2. Lock the door with the power door lock switch or the remote keyless entry transmitter. The SECURITY light should flash. 3. Close all doors. The SECURITY light should go off after approximately 30 seconds. The alarm is not armed until the SECURITY light goes off.
If a locked door is opened without the key or the remote keyless entry transmitter, the alarm will go off. The headlamps and parking lamps will flash for two minutes, and the horn will sound for 30 seconds, then will turn off to save the battery power.
1. Start with key out of ignition, drivers door is open all others closed and drivers door is unlocked. 2. Insert key into the ignition (Do NOT Turn) and Pull key out. 3. Perform these steps within 40 seconds. A. Using the power lock switch on the drivers door, perform 5 lock/unlock cycles starting with lock. Use an even pace and try to go about one cycle per second. (1Cycle = 1 lock and 1 unlock). B. Close, then open drivers door. 4. Perform these steps within 40 seconds. A. Insert the key in the ignition cylinder. C. Turn the ignition to ON (Do NOT Start) then back to OFF. D. Remove the key from the ignition. 5. Press any button on remote for a minimum of 1 second. System should now lock and unlock doors once.
6. Close and open drivers door. 7. Press any button on remote for a minimum of 1 second. System should now lock and unlock doors. Once to confirm programming, twice to indicate programming failed. 8. Repeat steps 5, 6 and 7 for additional remotes.
-If the problem is that keyless remote does unlock or lock door, but the lock lever still move when pulling up and down by hand. Door still open and close with both inner and outer, then might the driver door lock actuator is bad. The actuator lock and unlock the door for you when using the keyless remote or door lock/unlock switch.
-if you try using the key to unlock door and the key doesn't turn the door cylinder, then you have a bad door lock cylinder.
-if the lock lever doesn't move up or down and you can't open door using any handle, then you got a bad lock latch assembly.

Programming When Remote control added or replaced. System malfunction. How Obtain all remote controls. Remove key from ignition switch. Close all doors. Open driver's door. Carry out the following within 24 seconds: Turn ignition switch ON and back to LOCK position 3 times. Remove key. Press and release driver's door courtesy light switch 3 times. Ensure doors lock and unlock. If not, wait 40 seconds and repeat procedure starting with driver's door already open. Press each remote control lock or unlock button twice. Ensure doors lock and unlock after each remote control operation. If not, proceed as follows: Press and release driver's door courtesy light switch once. Ensure doors lock and unlock twice. Repeat procedure starting with driver's door already open. NOTE: A maximum of 3 remote controls can be programmed.
Get into your passport and unlock all doors. Leave drivers door open. Put key into ignition. Turn to ON (not start), then OFF three times within 5 seconds. Close and open the drivers door twice. Turn key to ON then OFF 5 times within 5 seconds. Close then open the drivers door. Press either the lock or unlock button on the remote. Doors will lock then unlock. Press the button again. Doors will lock then unlock again. Close door to finish programming. If it doesnt work, try it again but turn the key faster. You have to do it all pretty quick, but I had it done on the second try.

Insert the key into the ignition switch and leave it in.
Close the driver's door.
Turn the key from LOCK to ON 4 times, ending at LOCK (LOCK - ON - LOCK - ON - LOCK - ON - LOCK - ON - LOCK)
Wait for the locks to stop, then remove the key from the ignition switch.
On the key fob, press and release both LOCK and UNLOCK buttons at the same time.

[For driver door unlock] press and release the LOCK button.
Open the driver's door. The programming is complete. If programming did not occur, start over.
