95 Accord, Intermittant Gauges

Pull your negative battery cable for 30 min see if it resets your sytem. Guages should jump up and drop back then work perfectly. Had to do this with my 2005 monte carlo

if i remember correctly there is a resister in the dash board that will need replacing, this is on the power side for both the gauges. . it will need replacing. i think a company in the 90's did a upgrade for the dash board so if its the upgrade it will be on a board. the original was on the back strip. you just cut it out and solder new one in its place to the parts left, but don't solder for to long as it can ment the strip.

If all voltages checked ok,then most probably its faulty instrument cluster board on which gauges are connected.Yes if cluster circuit board looks ok,then also it can be faulty.Somewhere there is minute short or burn on board then such prolem arises.
Also check the fuse box.One under hood and other under dash.Inspect each and every fuse and see if all are fine or not.

Hey man if you already changed out the relay i would try changing your fuel pump and sending unit that should stop both of your problems.

sounds like ignition barrel to me.

I had that happen to my Jetta you need a new cluster. This is all the gauges.

there is a voltage regulator that controls both the temp guage and the fuel guage. cost is aprox. 40.00

No link, the fuel guage issue is the sending unit in the gas tank is defective, the temp guage may be correct, have you serviced the cooling system lately or ever? What year is the car?

electrical problem. take the truck to the dealer and have the computer checked / reprogrammed. unfortunately, your average mechanic cannot reprogram the computer. have you noticed any other problem that would point in the direction of an electrical problem (lights, radio, lighter, etc.)?
