Do not believe it should stay on. Does it stay on even after you open the door and remove the key? Does it ever go out? Let me know and I'll try and help

Not completely sure on the 5 series, but on the 3 series there is a relay in the front fuse holder under the hood that acts like a power relay for the car.. Are any other accessories on as well like the radio, turn signals, heater fan etc?To check to see if the relay is stuck, just pull out each relay one at a time and check to see if the light goes out. I'll look up the schematic andd let you know if there is another avenue to investigate. Let me know

need to disconnect the feed wire back one connection block from plugin, you should be able to find its wires running up from under dash end of consul. or you can pull all the screws and remove the consul. to get at the wires to follow them back to the first connector.

Car wont pass emissons testing

The check engine light issue could be a faulty dash bulb or consul. It looks like you could do worse than get your car checked out on a diagnostic consul.

Failing that, emissions failure is usually a fault of the engine not running at optimum. Is the air filter clean, air temperature sensors clean. Finally take it out for a good run to burn of any residues before checking emissions.

Need to find the low pressure sensor on my 2005 hyundai tucson

there are two things to look at. there are 4 sensors and one controller. the sensors are in the wheel and can only be removed after removing the tire from the wheel itself. there is a small controller that sends the barometric pressure (via infrared) to the controller. The controller is located under the dash on the center consul. the dealership can provide a more detailed location and should do this for free....

Good luck,

I have a 1995 geo prism that the heater will not blow heat, the blower works but when the control knob is on heat it doesnt get hot or warm for that matter.. the car doesnt over heat and the rad is full .....

I would believe the problem can only be in two places
  • One the control valve which operates the amount of coolant going into the system....or
  • The ducting plates inside the center consul of the heater assembly
Unfurtunatly I can't give much help in the removal of the consul as I'm not familiar with your vehicle.
  • Usually the glove locker must be removed
  • It is also possible that the instrument panel has to come out
  • The front of the consul may have screws or possibly snap fitted (if you can't see any screws) but look very carefully
  • A third possibility is that if your vehicle is fitted with electronic climate control, that unit may have a bad connection or a blown fuse.
Sorry I can't be of more help

All of the lights in my center console and in both the driver and passenger door are not working (power windows and lock switches). Do you have any idea why this is happeneing and what I need to do to make...

Sometimes there are fuses in more than one spot. There are usually some under the hood and some under the dash on the drivers side. Specifically look for power windows.

The break system in the car

Hi I am Vortash you say the emegency brake light stays on , this is probably because the switch beneath the centere consul has stuck .. in the on posistion .. or if the warning light is attached to your low brakes warning system ( check in your manual ) that is downloadable from http://www.safemanuals.com I have just looked at the manual and it says if the light stays on it is because the brake fluid is low and you should seek the assistance of the local dealer .. hope this helps Regards Vortash
