Hello,
I usually change my cars oil/air filter/change tires..etc the basics I bought 4 quarts of cvt looked up as much information as I could and still was lost. I know I refill in the charge pipe but how do I empty the cvt from the trans. I went under the car many times and didnt want to undo the wrong thing. If anyone can give me steps/pics or diagrams it will be very helpful thanks In advance.

you can drain the fluid but you need a special refill tool from a vw /audi garage these are only available from dealers so my advise is take to one of them the oil also has to check at certain temperature (35 degrees celcious) this all done by diagnostic equipment . i live in the uk and i was quoted £105 to change the oil in my a6 its worth having it done than trying to do it yourself

the fuel filter is located in the fuel tank and is not serviceable as maintenance. only when fuel pump is serviced

If you are below 100 psi then you have a major leak inside the transmission. These will read upwards of 700 psi and require a special gauge to check line pressure. As far as fixing this there are limited parts available for this transmission and a replacement unit is big bucks. Take the car to your saturn dealer and see what they will do. These have a 5 year 75,000 miles warranty for the transmission, and most of them are covering up to and past 100,000 miles for customer satisfaction. If you dont know much or anything about this transmission do not attempt to repair it. Let the trained professional tech at saturn take care of this.

The only way to check the trans fluid is to drain the fluid right out of the trans pan. There should be 5 liters. The only way to get the fluid in is by pumping the fluid back in by means of the fill plug on the lower front of the transmission. I believe it is a 4 or a 6mm allen to remove the plug. Whatever you use to pump the fluid back in needs to seal where the fill plug is because fluid will pour right back out. I would change the fluid at least every 50k.
