Unlocked driver's door with key for the first time, now i cannot get it to lock. have tried with key, center console lock/unlock, fob, and pushed down on 'lock' on door, with no success... always pops back up. what do i do?
Unhook the cars battery for 30 min, it will reset and let you lock your doors again.
Sounds like the linkage came off, remove the door panel and inspect

Does the key still pop the trunk/hatch? That would also indicate whether or not it was the key remote. If that function works it's probably nothing on the car (i.e. "receiver") end.
There is a very good SAAB forum that would likely be the best place to find out if somebody has has this issue before and what they have done: www.saabcentral.com

you need to spend some time triing the best you can to get the top of the door panel open a bit to see what is broken inside, most likely a clip. The other thing to try is a slim jim to get the door open then repair the door lock.

Most likely you have a bad TWICE unit. it is located under the driver's seat, at a low point in the floor and often gets wet.

Possible door lock actuator. Or you have a mechanical failure in the mechanism. Id remove door panel and inspect the mechanism but if you dont know what to look for, take to a reputable shop

Close any open doors, and lock them all from the driver's door. You should hear the other doors locking when you turn the key in the driver's door. Check the other doors to make sure the lock indicators are in the "Locked" position.
Wait at least 15 seconds. Then, unlock the driver's door with the key. This should disable the alarm.
