Heater not working

I have a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and the heater is not working. I can not tell if heat is coming out but the blower is not working at all. It worked fine earlier in the day but a few hours afterwards I started the vehicle and it would not come on. Is it a fuse or some other problem and how can I find out for myself without paying a mechanic.

2003 jeep grand cherokee heater problem

Jeep Grand Cherokee is notorious for broken blend-air doors. This is the door inside the A/C-heater housing that switches the air from hot to cold. You must remove the dash to repair it.

Heater blower is working but only blows cold air 2001 Grand Cherokee Jeep Limited 3.1d

Either your heater core is plugged up or your line to the core is restricted. Do a complete reverse rad flush with a radiator cleaning solution and try it. If that doesn't work you'll need a new heater core.

I have a 1999 grand Cherokee limited 4.0 v6 engine. It over heats like every 6 months. My michanic tells me my computer program needs to be uninstalled then reinstalled. Is this something that happens alot...

never heard of this before ,i have worked on quite a few jeeps here in spain but never had this before .power steering yes ,radiators yes ,funny american electrics big time ,does yours have the manual fan and a back up electric fan or is it all electric fans .Quick tip ----if it starts to run hot ,put the heater on screen and blower on full this will keep the engine cool ,if no heats comes out of heater then stop because you have no water in the rad
