I experience intermitant power failures alarms on my 2007 Honda Jazz Vtec since I replaced the battery. Several inspections at the Honda dealer was unsuccesfull, because the fault rectified itself before the problem could be repaired.
With the help of diagnostic computer go to EPS and clear the present and history error codes, if any. This problem usually arises when replacing the battery.
There must be something wrong with the battery of your honda jazz and disconnect with the battery so that you can remove the code!
SOURCE: Charging problem.. Wont charge battery
The instructions for installing a new alternator usually read to fully charge the battery (12.3 - 12.8 volt range). Otherwise, the alternator will be damaged when it initializes. I have seen some extreme damage result from installing a new alternator with a low-charge battery. The torque required to turn an alternator when damaged in this scenario is unbelieveable!

CHECK VTEC SWITCH OIL PRESSURE.SHOULD BE 50 PSI @3000 RPM FOR THE S2000 OIL PRESSURE SHOULD BE 85 PSI @ 3000 RPM. IF OIL PRESSURE OKAY HAVE TO BE EITHER VTEC SWITCH FAULTY OR VTEC SOLENOID HAS FAILED.SOME TIMES PCM HAS FAILED TO THAT CONTROL CIRCUIT.
SOURCE: 1998 Prelude VTEC P1361 code, what's the most likely failure.
the code that you have has nothing to do with the oil level
that code is "Intermittent Interruption In TDC 1 sensor circuit"
check your the connection on your cam sensor and on your crank sensor
SOURCE: 1997 Honda Civic did not pass smog due to O2
the best way to reset it is with a scan tool.
disconnecting the battery for one minute will also remove the code.BUT
if your smog test uses an OBD scan as part of the process, then there will be a problem, because the monitors will not have been set,as they are reset if the battery is disconnected..
most tests allow only one monitor missing, and not the catalyst .
A drive cycle will have to be done to set the monitors.
Typically cold start coolant temp less than 50F,idle for 2 minutes no air condition, accelerate at half throttle to 50mph then drive 3 minutes with a/c on at 50mph steady.decelerate to 10mph without using brakes..Accelerate to 60mph and drive for 5 minutes at steady speed without a/c
deccelerate without braking and drive for 1 minute at 40mph.
stop the car ,use braking.
Shut off the car and add 4 gallons of gas.do not shut off the car for more than 5 minutes.
drive in 3rd gear or overdrive off with rpm 3000 for 1 minute.
decelerate to 10mph.without braking
accelerate to 40 mph in 4th gear.,or overdrive on
decelerate without braking to 10mph.
test complete.
this will set the o2 sensor heater ,o2 sensor, catalyst, evap purge.and the other monitors.
This will solve the
problem or point you towards the cause of problem. Thank you for using fixya.
