How to open trunk without key WHEN BATTERY IS DEAD I TRIED THE CIGERTE LIGHTER JUMPER CABLES IT DID NOT WORK I HAVE A 04 LINCOLN LS

I DON,T HAVE KEY FOB OR TRUNK KEY BATTERY COMPLETELY DEAD

Read my other post to your other question

If the doors are open,drop the back right seat back,
& crawl into trunk & pull the yellow release tab

OBD2 Vehicles do not use the lighter for battery voltage,
that was obd 1 systems ,the power is in the diagnostic connecter
by your right knee,need adapter to use battery KAM memory
back -up

The seat may only be released from the trunk--.have to check my 2004 LS

This is the time that I use my cigarette lighter to cigarette lighter jumper cables. Not enough to start the vehicle but enough to activate latches, etc. They are supper cheap and one of those things that come in handy when you least expect it.

Trying to open trunk with no power
Use jumper cables from another car-put the positive jumper cable on the post on the starter where the battery cable connects, then the negative jumper cable to a ground on the frame of your car. Turn on the car you are jumping with and let it run about 10 minutes. It might charge up your battery in the trunk enough to open the trunk.

How do you open a audi q5 trunk when the battery is dead
if it is like my Holden omega which has the battery in the boot there will be a jumper post in the engine bay that you jump to a car like when jump starting cars .
Or put a charged car battery jumpered to jumper posts with a jumper cable .

2000 Lincoln LS V8. Trunk lock cylinder is damaged and the battery is dead. Is there a way to provide power to the trunk solenoid or an alternate way to charge the battery?
You could connect jumper cables from another car or battery to the battery side of the starter solenoid. Connect the negative cable to the engine for a ground. This should make your trunk switch work.

i would try to use jumper cable under hood with power from difrent unit to energised

You should be able to pull down your back seat and pull the safety pull inside the trunk.

If you have an Auto club or Insurance policy for your car they often offer locksmith service.

You can try the button in the glovebox to release the trunk and some cars have a cable in the drivers door to release the trunk.

If these do not work you can get a portable jump plug through the cigarette lighter and get enough power to work the trunk release.

Buy or build a cigarette lighter plug to jumper cable adapter. It won't jump your car, but you will get enough juice to operate the trunk release.
