Go to the Dayco Auto / Light Truck page and drill down into your year, make, "pickup/vans/suvs", "engine", "serpentine belt". To the right under "Additional Info" is a link to "Routing".

Good luck!

I missed a step - Between "Pickup/vans/suv" you need to check "F Series Pickups" and "F Series Pickups SD" to see which has your engine.

SOURCE: Fan Belt broken. How

It's got an socket on the tensioner pulley, which you slip onto a breaker bar or a ratchet with the appropriate socket. Then, from the driver's side of the engine bay, pull the bar toward yourself and it will release the tension.
It's possible to hold the tensioner back and fit a belt yourself .
You should be able to find a pully with a square hole for a socket rachet to go into. Push away from the belt and you should be able to remove it .For more detailed procedure, read the following instructions:--- ------------------------ Take a good look at how the belt is mounted on the car. Now with a socket and ratchet put it on the bolt head in the middle of the tensioner. This is the pulley between the power steering pump and alternator, essentially the one in the middle up the top. Now with ratchet to be pointing towards the right (drivers side) guard, about horizontal, with your left arm push it anti clockwise and the pulley will rise up. With your other hand whilst this is happening pull the belt off of the top of the water pump pulley (the one in the middle half way down). Carefully ease off the tensioner pulley and take the belt off. ---------------- Installation is pretty much a reversal. With your new belt thread it around the pulleys as the other one was, paying particular attention to making sure it sits right on the a/c compressor (bottom right), alternator (top right) harmonic balancer (bottom centre) and p/s pulley. Leave the belt off the water pump pulley for now but have it sitting so its ready to be slipped over. Now do the same thing with the socket and ratchet again to the tensioner pulley. With your free hand move the belt over the top of the water pump pulley. Ease off the tensioner and then check the belt is sitting right in all the pulleys, the grooves in the belt running in the grooves in the pulleys and the belt up against the rear lip of the pulley. ------------------ In an emergency or lack of proper tools , you can use the wheel brace to pull up on the tensioner. the head on the tensioner nut is a very similar (slightly smaller) size than that on the wheel nuts. --------------- This should help.Keep updated.Thanks.Helpmech.

Noise after fitting cam belt

When you refitted the belt, was there a spacer ring refitted correctly?
Also, check for any sprocket key was fitted correctly and that the crankshaft pulley bolt was refitted correctly and was tightened properly.
There's also the slight possibility that the plastic casings weren't fitted flush and are being scraped by the pulleys or belt.

Need to replace transmission pan gasket.

1) Drain the fluid.2) Remove all oil pan screws around the exterior.3) Pull down oil pan.4) Remove old gasket.5) Clean both mating surfaces.
6) Take the opportunity to replace any gearbox oil filter within.
7) Refit new gasket with silicone sealant on both sides (I prefer 'Three Bond')
8) Refit screws, tightening several times all the way around until snug.
9) Refill with fresh oil.

Replacing fan belt?what tools are required?

Instructions

Things You'll Need
3/8-inch drive breaker bar
Metric sockets
Serpentine belt

1 Open the hood and inspect the flat surface on top of the plastic fan shroud for the belt routing diagram. Follow the diagram instructions to route the new belt.

2 Locate the serpentine belt self-adjusting tensioner on the front of the engine block. The tensioner has a pulley on the bottom of the tensioner arm, which the belt travels under. The tensioner can only be rotated from the bolt that secures the pulley to the tensioner arm.

3 Rotate the tensioner in a clockwise motion with a metric socket and the breaker bar to loosen the tension from the belt. Then, pull the belt off the top of the tensioner pulley. Release the tensioner pulley and pull the breaker bar off the pulley bolt.

4 Pull the belt out of the accessory pulleys. Then, slide the belt around each fan blade and out of the engine bay. Rotate each fan blade to the top side of the engine to get the belt around each fan blade.

5 Match both the new belt and the old belt together to make sure that the new belt is the correct size. Then, route the new belt around each fan blade and around the crankshaft pulley. The crankshaft pulley is the big pulley at the very bottom of the engine.

6 Follow the routing directions from the belt routing diagram to install the new belt around the other accessory pulleys. Once the belt has been routed around all of the pulleys, look over the belt and make sure that it is secure inside all of the pulleys.

7 Crank the 1998 Dodge Caravan and let the motor run for about 15 seconds. This will finish seating the ridges of the new belt into the grooves of each accessory pulley.

8 Shut the motor off and close the hood.

Help on changing fan belt on a vaneo

Hello,
To be honest, it's best done on ramps in a garage.
However, here we go.

The fan belt is located by removing the underside panel, below the drivers seat area.

Once this is out (8 or so screws) you'll see the alternator and a series of pulleys.

There is a tensioner which is loosened with a socket (mercedes describe a special tool - it's not) and the belt can be removed with the pressure released.

Refitting involves a bit of jiggery pokery to thread it around and then re-apply the tension.

Usual fan belt rules apply - check over tension, check it's true, run it in for a bit.

Hope this helps.

How do you change rear wheel bearing on mondeo 2002 tdci thanks? muzz.

The new bearing comes complete with hub and abs sensor, just remove the wheel, the brake caliper and disc, the connector for the abs, and the hub nut. Slide the worn hub off, fit the new one and refit components in the order you removed them. New bearing from Ford is over £200, but you should find a QH one for around £78 inc. vat.

Take off water pump

Dis-connect battery, drain coolant, remove fan & radiator cowling ( fan coupling has a left hand thread ) undo 4 x retaining bolts in water pump housing. To get the pump out, you may have to tap it slightly & lever it about as the body fits inside an alloy casting. Before you refit, make sure the housing the pump fit into it clean & free from corrosion or pitting by cleaning with some medium to fine abrasive paper. Put some grease ( not sealer ) around the new pump seal & refit everything else. Remember to bleed the air out of the cooling system before driving. Hope this helps & good luck !
