I own a 1993 Lexus Es 300 will not unlock using the remote or by manualy turning the key. There i only one door lock on the car located at the drivers side door.
How do you fix it if you can't get the door unlocked or open? Seeing as you need the door open to get the door panel off... I have the same exact problem. There is lock linkage inside the door panel. many of the parts are plastic and are designed to break if someone attempts to break into your car (I had this happen to my 87 camery) I replaced the green plastic "knuckle" and it fixed it.

I can help you with the drivers door. Simply put a screwdriver in the hole between outer door edge and lock mechanism. Push mechanism towards inside of door. The reverse of what happened when you accidentally locked the mechanism. I have done the same thing
