What is error code 62 for a Buick LeSabre

didn't know there was a code for radio, sense it is not a sensor or connected to computer

Bushing, track rod end, cv joint, warped rim, warped discs.

A check engine light tells the operator that there is an error code stored in the computer. You can take it to most autoparts stores and they will read the error codes for you free. Make sure you write down what those code are and the order they came off your computer.

I would check on Ebay or a local salvage yard for cost of the computer.
I had a computer changed in a 1990 Cadillac Deville that cost only $80 for the part and $200 for the diagnosis and replacement labor. Probably a 2001 Buick LeSabre would cost more, though, unfortunately.

Hi! I have enclosed 3 trouble trees for you. The code being stored is a quad driver error. Quad(which means 4)drivers control up to 4 things. They are located in the engine control module. They provide ground for the items that they control. This could mean a component that the driver controls could be bad or the computer itself. Hope this helps you!

could be the althenator going bad

You need to get the computer scanned to see what the "trouble code" is. The light is on because the computer found an error.

No sorry, Take it to autozone, they will scan it for free.

Do you an Owner's Manual to look at. There are two fuse boxes on the 2000 Buick LeSabre. One is under the hood an the passenger-side at the front and the other is under the back seat. The Owners manual has fuse diagrams on pages 6-62 and 6-63 for the engine compartment box and pages 6-66 and 6-67 for the under seat box. Pictures and instructions are also included starting page 6-61.
