I have a 1990 Lexus ES 250...it stalled in traffic and appears to be a fuel pump...no gas getting to carb...do you know where the fuel pump resides on this car? Thank-you

Pull a spark plug out & stick it back in ignition wire , lay it on top of engine have another person try to start vehicle while observing if spark plug is sparking.If you have spark then you may have a fuel problem.Unless the t-belt slipped.Or if t-belt broke you will not have any spark.Another common problem for ES 250 is a burnt through ignition rotor, causing a no spark condition.If you have spark , try pulling off one of the small vacuum hose on the passanger side of intake manifold & spray carburator cleaner in vacuum port while someone cranks over the engine.If vehicle fires up or tries to you have a fuel problem & need to diagnoise from there.
