Hi Joanne, first go to brake master cylinder and look for leaks,if none, then go to the inside of each tire and find bleeder screw ,look for leaks there, and if you have back drum brakes, then the wheel cylinders could be leaking and the leak is contained inside the drum and may not be seen till the drum comes off and it will cause the brake shoes to get hot and crystalize and crack.

SOURCE: '96 ford Crown Victoria....No hazard or brake light no turn sigal

Sounds like the multifunction switch. Try working the hazard switch up and down a few times to see if you get some lights to work. If so then replace the switch.

SOURCE: 1994 Crown Victoria: need to add brake fluid to master cylinder...

Why would you add fluid?
As the front pads wear, the fluid will go down, not an issue
If you keep opening the fluid resevoir, you will let moisture in.

Try to check your HYDROVAC assembly.. remove assembly and detach brake master, see if there are fluids present on the accumulator tank of the hydrovac. replace brake master rubber caps or brake master assembly.

Where can I check and fill break fluid levels on my 1987 ford crown victoria?

There should be a reservoir attached to the brake booster on the drivers side of the engine compartment by the fire wall.

Brake pedal will go all the way to the floor

make sure brake fluid is full. then pump brakes for one minuite check the fluid to see if it went down or stayed full. if it went down then check the system for a leak . if it stays full then you will need a new mastercylender . i dont think you have a vacum problem cause this causes a verry stiff brake pedal not one that goes to the floor
