I smell gas but i'm not lossing any.

After driving you can smell gas when we park in the garage. Also I'm putting oil and coolant in it about once a month. I am not seeing any leaks anywhere.

My first question is - is the check engine light on when you are driving ?
You could have a leaking injector which could be causing fuel to escape thru the exhaust. You could also have a leak in the vent system for the gas tank.
The need for coolant and oil if no leaks are visible usually means the engine is burning the fluids because of an internal engine leak or head gasket problem.

SOURCE: I ran out of coolant.

Yeah a Air bubble sounds about right because its looks like theres back pressure in the radiator causing the coolant to leak out, so i'd suggest draining the coolant out in the driveway or on the grass and stick a hose in the cap hole and wash it out, also replace the radiator hoses incase you have a pin hole in one of them and refill with coolant and see if that has fixed the issue.

SOURCE: losing coolant, no large puddles in garage when

If engine oil was thick , somewhat " Russian Dressing " like, I would look for coolant mixing with engine oil. Causes could include leaking internally head gaskets, cracked heads, intake manifold gaskets, etc. Initially and unfortunately the intake manifold, and cylinder heads will have to come off. Then a complete visible inspection of ALL GASKETS will be required as well as CYLINDER HEAD AND BLOCK for cracks. After repairs are completed don't forget to change the oil and filter again. Hope this helps

SOURCE: gas smell in the oil.....have to put coolant in often

It sounds as if you have an intake gasket leaking. This will cause both problems. The coolant is probably going out the exhaust. The fuel is probably loading up in the cylinder and leaking past the rings or valve seals.

SOURCE: i stopped for fuel yesterday and minutes after

If you had to add oil, more then likely there an oil leak could be a gasket or oil seal, where ever the leak is at it's falling on the exhaust manifold and burning the oil, that's what you smell. Have it check cause low oil will damage you engine.

It appears the cap screws off? It doesn't look like a regular radiator cap. I looked at acdelco parts book.
If the cap is stubborn, cold engine, sometimes I use a pair of pliers with wide jaws, grip the cap and screw it off. I haven't seen your type cap, before. If this was my vehicle, I would certainly want to look in the radiator. I'd get that cap off, one way or the other. Of course, nobody wants to damage anything.

Do not know what the problem is, but my check engine light is on? Recently had the oil changed and all fluids are filled up. Put in antifreeze/coolant and it was low within a week, but I found no leaking...

A loss of coolant with no apparent leak more than likely means you have a blown head gasket, cracked head, or both. Coolant entering the combustion chamber can cause a miss and that would set the Check Engine light. STOP driving this vehicle until you can find out for sure. You will destroy this engine if it has a blown head gasket and you continue to drive it. Other symptoms of a blown head gasket are white smoke from the exhaust and an overfull oil level with a white foamy substance on the underside of the oil fill cap. You will also have a sweet smell at the exhaust.

Temperature light came on 2002 VW Passat wagon backing out of garage today, slight burning smell. Returned after 2 miles. Have experienced this smell on and off since oil & filter change several weeks...

You can see the coolant level by looking through the opaque round coolant reservoir. It should be just over the middle. There's a line indication proper level. Orange Dexcool meets the VW specification and is generally available. The rear coolant flange can warp and seep over time and leaks onto hot parts. That's probably why you smell it.

1994 Ford Mustang blowing white smoke that smells like pure gas. Gas running straight through and getting about 5 mile per gallon.

Sounds like a blown head or intake gasket. Coolant in the oil is a sure sign. Another sure sign is loss of coolant with no obvious leaks.

Coolant in the cylinders will emit white smoke, and the fuel smell is probably raw fuel passing through because it can't ignite due to the coolant.

Pull the dipstick and if the oil looks milky, then it is a blown gasket, or worst case scenario, a cracked head or block.
