My 1991 cadillac fleetwood is making a humming/roaring sound while driving, the ABS light is also on. I think they have something to do with eachother. I've greased the bearings, and cleaned the speed sensors, which both had no effect. Any info on this will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Sounds like they may have left something disconnected like the ABS/ Traction control wheel sensor, make them fix it!!

service engine soon is a mere fuel problem....make sure youre putting premium fuel only in your tank...throw a hand held code reader on it and I would bet you money its fuel related..usually nothing at all to worry about...the code reader can also turn off the light for you

You can check out what the trouble code is by pushing and holding the information button and the up arrow (right side of instrument cluster above the radio) until all the instrument clusters light. Press the information button (last) to enter test mode. I've had an error C1234, meaning Left rear wheel sensor fault. I found the problem to be a corroded connector under the chasis just under the rear left door about 2 feet in. I had to by-pass (replace 1 wire due to corrosion at the connector.

I have the same car and had the same issue, you will need to replace a wheel bearing hub assembly. The speed sensor is more than likely bad. I actually had the problem yesterday, and I replaced the hub today and it cost me $142.00 = tax for the repair. It's not hard to do, if you have the tools. Hope this helps

Hello: There are many things that will cause the lights to come on. You can check the brake fluid if it is low that will cause the light to come on. you can clear the code with a up scale scanner but if the problem is not corrected the light will come back on.
