How do you manually lower a c70 roof

It is a known issue. I found this. You just need to remove one fuse 'F11'.

Go under hood locate fuse f11 20amp remove that see how that goes? Go try removing fuse # f65 under passenger side is fuse box above your feet area second try

Also fuse f15 under hood 30amp remove together with fuse 11 both are under hood

If you're finding it difficult to service/repair your car, get one of those online manuals. You'll not have
to wait for others to answer, or rely on mechanics and all. Plus i know a website that has very good manuals online, without expiry i.e. for lifetime. www.reliable-store.com They are having manuals in English Language.

You can manually shift the selector lever on top of the transmission. You chould check the likage, it must be broken or disconnected either on the transmission end or on the selector itself.

Check circuit breaker,37 in fuse box under bonnet
This is breaker for roof/heated window/mirrors

Mileage on timing belt, depends on year ? make (volvo) model (c70) and engine size?. heres a couple of mileage readings,the 1998 c70 with a 2.3 turbo engine is due every 70,000 miles. the 1999 -2001 c70 with 2.3 turbo is due every 105,000 miles. the 2002- 2004 c70 with the 2.3 engine is also at 105,000. the 1998 c70 with the 2.4 engine is due every 70,000 miles. the 1999-2001 c70 with the 2.4 engine is due every 105,000 miles. the 2002- 2004 c70 with the 2.4 engine is due every 105,000 miles. god luck hope this helps.

you will need to pay for any book, there's nothing free on a volvo.

some times dealerships will write them in the owners manual, but if you don't have that you will have to remove the radio and get the serial number and model number off and call the dealer. if you don't want to do that you will have to take it to the dealer.
