The engine idles fine when the aircon is off, but when the aircon is on and you engage drive or reverse the idling comes down until the engine judders and wants to switch off.
Sounds like the compressor is failing or seized (for the air con). This would put extra pressure on the system. It could be another fault with the air con system like the solenoids not opening up to allow the flow of gas in the system.

Same to me, the EsP light use to come on just before the Revs dropped and cut out, audi charged £75 to clean the throttle pipe, well worth it, cheers

Have the rotors turned or the discs cut means the same thing either way but yes your disc.

I think on top of the transmission, the one has a wire, and looks like a sensor. To remove, need a 19mm , open wrench or socket wrench.
