Bought a yreg punto for my daughters xmas,it drove ok for a few days apart from a slight miss,so it got a full service, plugs;oil, filters, but it still had a slight miss when ticking over.i could live with that, then about 50 miles later after i started it 1 morning it developed a serious judder from engine like it was going to cut out,i managed to get it to garage again, the mechanic thought it was low on fuel as fuel light was on he filled it with fuel, but light stayed on and it woud,nt start, he done the useual checks but it would not start, then he tried starting it the next day and it started straight away, i picked it up and it run fine for 2 days then when driving home from work the lights went dim the power steering died and engine cut out, towed it to garage no spark at plugs, he replaced, coil packs, crank censor, still not start, took it to fiat garage onto comuter,it said key code, but when u turn key the key code light comes on then off normaly he ruled that out,got a motor electrican to check it over for broken wires and bad earths and reelies, every thing fine their,he said fuel pumps working but no spark at plugs, and has,nt a clue why,the fuel lights on and the tanks full and cant get spark at plugs..can anyone help please, salmon.
Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities.
It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then
it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure
or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty
ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.
To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.
