Old post, not answered, are you still busted?
all suzuki have an operators guide in the glove box.
and if missing is online, Google that, for zillion hits.
read the manual, RTM, see the dash page. it tells you what each and every light means. you should know them.
so when driving you dont burn up a good engine.
really.

cranks? but dont start.
check for spark.? if there is no spark there will be no fueling.

I have a 2001 ford laser auto, the hold light started flashing, the previous owner said that he'd turn the car off start it again and the light would stay off

The flashing "Hold" light in a 2001 Ford Laser automatic transmission indicates a potential issue with the transmission. It's a warning sign that there may be a problem that needs attention. Here are some possible reasons for the flashing "Hold" light and steps to take:
  1. Transmission Overheating: The flashing "Hold" light can be triggered by the transmission overheating. This can happen if you've been driving in heavy traffic or in hot weather. If this is the case, you can try the following steps:
    • Pull over to a safe location.
    • Shift the transmission to "P" (Park).
    • Allow the engine to idle for a few minutes to cool down the transmission.
    • Turn off the engine and wait for a moment.
    • Start the engine again and see if the "Hold" light remains off. If it does, it was likely caused by overheating.
  2. Transmission Fault: If the "Hold" light continues to flash even after restarting the engine, there may be a more serious issue with the transmission. In this case, it's advisable to have the vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic or a transmission specialist. They can diagnose the problem and recommend the necessary repairs.
  3. Transmission Fluid Level: Check the transmission fluid level as low fluid levels can sometimes trigger warning lights. Consult your vehicle's owner's manual for instructions on how to check the transmission fluid level. If it's low, top it up with the recommended transmission fluid.
  4. Transmission Sensor or Solenoid: The flashing "Hold" light can also be related to sensors or solenoids in the transmission that may be malfunctioning. A diagnostic scan of the vehicle's computer system can identify any error codes related to the transmission, helping pinpoint the issue.
It's important not to ignore a flashing "Hold" light, as transmission problems can worsen if not addressed promptly. Continuing to drive with a malfunctioning transmission can lead to further damage and potentially costly repairs. Therefore, it's recommended to have the vehicle inspected by a professional to determine the cause of the issue and take appropriate action.

Can't find this warning in the manual and the suzuki garage doesn't have any idea.

It could be a seat belt warning sign
check your drivers seat belt and a passenger seat belt for operation

Hi, i have a grand cherokee 5,7 from 2006. The lights in the instrument panel, and the exterior lights keep flashing when the engine in turned on. I cannot adjust the lights in the instument panel neither....

I have a similar problem - every once in a while all of my dash lights flash on like the car is trying to conk out/stall (I have a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee) - the car has no loss of power and runs fine, just all of the dashboard lights and warnings come on like its going to stall. Happens on dry days, wet days, cold days, warm days - at least 3 times a month. trouble is, because its intermittent no one can find the problem.

Truck wont fire

START WITH CHECKING THE FUSE LABELED INSTUMENTS,GAUGES OR CLUSTER IN THE FUSE BOX ,JUST TO SEE PUT ANOTHER FUSE IN ,AND IF THAT DOESN'T WORK ,LOOK FOR A LOOSE GROUND WIRE,OR IT MAY HAVE AN AFTERMARKET ALARM,BUT DOUBTFUL IT WOULD KEEP THE WARNING LIGHTS FROM COMING ON , YOU MIGHT CHECK YOUR WIRING HARNESS AND MAKE SURE IT DOESN'T HAVE ANY PLACES THAT LOOK LIKE THEY HAVE BEEN HOT ETC,BUT IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE SITUATION LIKE IF YOU JUST PUT THE ENGINE IN THE TRUCK ,OR DID IT JUST START DOING IT AFTER YOU DROVE IT & GOT BACK IN & IT WAS NOT WORKING ,OR ????

Audi a4 1995 1,6l no rpm in instrument and warning

If you've just had the instument changed then its probable that the connector has come loose and will have to be re-connected. It could also be that the instument has failed. Take it back to the mechanic who changed the old one. This assumes that the car drives ok and all the fluids are topped up and ok.
