There is fuse in fuse box..check that...In most cases if fuse is fine then this would indicate that fuel pump has failed and needs to be replaced. in some cases in some cars the cut off switch fails and needs to be reset or replaced...as to the location on your car?? more than likely fuel pump is bad....hope this helps and good luck.....Please rate my post and thanks in advance.....if need more help fill free to contact me..
there is a relay in the engine compartment relay fuse box should be labeled pull it out look at the relay and jump the same wire the number 30 and 87 on the relay then try and start car. if it don't work check for power there if no power move to the fuse in same compartment.if there is power the installation could be wrong. make sure the ground is properly connected to the frame/body/sending unit.
taking the fuse out is not going to relieve the pressure,you can either relieve pressure at the fuel rail or at a test port or even at the filter,get some safety glasses and disconnect the batt.maybe you should break the nut on the filter and slowly let the pressure use some gags or a pan to catch the spillage.or break the nut at the fuel rail and do the same thing,if ya need more advise let me know DB
