Question about 2007 Audi A6 2.0
I only have one speaker runiing in the pasenger door all the others are not working. i tried the fader to the rest, you can hear a low grumble and very quiet sounds. i also have an intermitent drivers door lock not working, open and close a few times and it works, manual from inside its ok, just the mechanisum. or the comand from the computer.
If multiple units in the same area are misbehaving - I would look to what they have in common. They may be on separate circuits(fuses) but they all rely on a good earth - which is quite often communal. You can prove/discount this with a patch lead from a good earth (battery -) to a good earth point in the door or one of the units not working.
Hope this helps.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

I had exactly the same problem and there are 2 ways of solving it. The first is to pay your Audi Service Centre £350-£550 to replace it for you and the second way is to do it yourself which will cost well under £100 (depending on ebay). Firstly check the Central Locking Pump to make sure the hoses haven't come off. This is located in the very back right hand corner of the boot so you will need to remove the carpet and internal trim and you will see a block of sponge. Carefully lift the top off this and you will see the pump sat inside it.
Actually there is a great set of photos online to help you and I will add the link for you at the end. If the hoses are still connected and not leaking it is very likely that the internal compressor wheel has shattered (quite a common fault). I believe it is possible to open the pump and replace this wheel (in fact there is one for sale on a very popular auction site at the moment) but my own preference was to simply buy a whole new pump and replace that (£16.00 + £8 p+p off the same auction site).
The most important thing for you to remember is that when you look to buy a replacement pump you need to find one with the EXACT same serial number. The one in the diagram shown is
8LO 862 257 N but I have a sneaky feeling yours might end in an A.
Anyway, I hope this is of some help and dont worry about the connections as both air connectors and all 3 electrical ones are different sizes and will only fit in one place each.

As far as the central locking issue, it sounds like you need to replace your central locking pump. You can buy them online.
I have a 95 A6 and I am in the process of looking for a new central locking pump.
The part number may be 4A0 862 257 J, that is what it is for me.
There are directions online as to how to change this yourself once you get the part. If you buy from the dealership the part is $500.
Be thankful your child locks weren't engaged. We haven't been able to open our back doors since the pump went out.

SOURCE: Driver door central locking
More than likely your front driver door module has failed. You will need to replace this module and readapt the key fobs for locking and unlocking
