My original broke off but I drove the van to my house anyway about a mile away but after I replace the new belt it won't start seem like timing belt need but I do not know how to do it any1 can help? I appreciate very much I need a timing belt diagram for a 1995 dodge caravan 3.3
The 3.3 L Caravan engine does not use a timing belt.. It is timing chain set up. What belt are you talking about that broke?? The serpentine belt that drives all the accessories??
Yes Dr. thats the belt I taling about the belt that drives all accessory was cut off then I have my friend help to replace other belt but coun't start up sound like need timing set up Oh they not belt they're chain? thank you Dr do you know how to set the timing to make the car start up? please help I really appreciate your times.

Looking at the engine from front (right side of the Van): Stating at the Top, Going Left to Right and Clockwise:
Over the Alternator
To under the Idle Pulley,
To Over the AC Compressor.
To the Left Side of the Water Pump.
To the Right side and Under the Crankshaft Pulley
To the Right side and Over and Down the Tensioner
To Under the Power Steering Pump
And Back up-to the Left side of the Alternator.
Advise when puting it on:
Put the Belt around everything else accept for the Alternator. After it is around all the rest of the Pulleys - Pull the belt up - tight from the Power steering Pump and the Idle Pulley to form a loop, holding the Belt close to the Altenator Pulley.
Using the 15mm wrench or belt tensioner bar - rotate the Tensioner Pulley towards the front of the Van and then place the belt over the Alternator.

Misalignment of the belt, incorrect belt, worn or loose tensioner, Too tight of an adjustment (many service centers do this on purpose so when the belt breaks in it becomes properly adjusted, I do not believe in this philosophy), The belt is actually one long belt called a serpentine belt.....
