1. Try cleaning the front brake senor.
2. Replace brake switch (under dash).
3. Check front brake pads for wear.

first thing I would try, disconnect the battery to the car for a minute, then reconnect it. that may correct your problem.

The problem may be with the closing assist pump or the sensor on the trunk. Try first to remove the fuse of the pump in the fuse box at the trunk. It is usually the #9 fuse in most models. Check if the fuse is bad if not leave it out of the socket for a minute then put it back in to reset the system. See if it works.
To get the line removed use the fork of a 7mm wrench to get the hose out of the pump. The trunk line is labeled 'HD'. Make sure to pry it out in the direction of the hose in order for you not to break the nozzle.
