My car stauls when come to a stop

My car runs fine but when I take the car to 60+ miles then slow down...it sould like it stauls then when I come to a stop.... it jurks and stops. If I put the car in Park and start the car... it starts but as soon as I put in drive or Reverse, it stops. If I wait for about 15 to 30 minutes, it works fine as long as I go slow speeds.

Car is automatic transmission, 1990 Buick Skylark 3.3L engine.

Try to clean the fuel system and inspect the fuel senser and injectors, it sounds like there is fuel stavation which can't allow the car to move at high speed.

After driving for about 10miles

Check your coolant level, you may have a head gasket leak sending coolant through the cylinders causing the "smoke".

1997 dodage grand caravan sport, when shifting from park to drive it makes a ticking noise, do you know what this could be? the car shifts fine and runs fine 126,000 miles.

The electronic shift solenoids in those transmissions make a ticking noise when shifting, same as when you slow down and stop, you will hear it as well, if it's quiet and your window is down. My guess is what your hearing is normal but if worried, stop at any reputable mechanic shop, or dealer and they will confirm it, free of charge.

2004 nissan altima running very hot 60,000 miles..suspect is thermostat, easy to change, DIY I have same issue. No coolant leak, have put car up on lift with two guys looking for leak, and nothing....

It may be temperature sensor on radiator. Dashboard gets info from it. If this sensor is not good, ac will stop and dashboard willl show some strange temperatures.

Vam stalling

there are too many reasons...

it could be fuel pump,, it could be ignition coil overheating, it could be the computer itself...

you need two things for the engine to run,

1 is gas
2nd is ignition,,

with these two misfiring or your loosing one of them, it will stall...

i hope i was able to give you some thoughts....
