If this is an automatic, there is no drainplug. You have to drop the entire tranny pan, but if you\'re careful when taking the bolts loose; you can drain the pan pretty easy.

SOURCE: location of oil filter on a 2008 hyundai elantra

It is located under the alternator. If you are looking down at the engine, it is to the far left. If you are under the car it is to the far right before the oil pan.

SOURCE: 2005 Hyundai accent overheating, radiator

A car can overheat for a lot of reasons.First make sure this is the problem by checking the radiator hose or water level. Open the radiator cap when the car is cold, crank it, and then watch the water level. If it drops when the car warms up this is not the problem.
The tools you will need will depend on what you have to take off to get to it. If you can access the thermostat you should only need a ratchet or wrench to remove it and something to scrape off old gasket with.
Location:The thermostat should be inside the thermostat housing on the motor. Follow your top radiator hose to the place where it goes into the motor. There should be a sort of dome shaped housing there with probably a bolt on either side of it.The thermostat is inside that.
This is a reasonably easy job, but shouldn't be done carelessly. It's also kind of messy.
When the car is cold remove the bolts from the housing with a ratchet. Lots of coolant and water will drain out. But the thermostat will be visible.Pay attention to which side of the thermostat is up.It should just lift up. Remove all the old gasket from around the area and clean it up well. Replace the thermostat and gasket then the bolts. Be very careful not to over tighten the bolts or the housing will be ruined.

SOURCE: where are the spark plugs

You have to remove the oil filler cap and then remove the fancy black plastic cover which is labeled "DOHC 16V" and which has the Hyundai emblem on it.

Where is the transmission filter located for 2008 Hyunday Tucson

I am not familiar with your specific car, but 99.9% of all automatic transmission filters are in the transmission pan, itself. It's located on the bottom of the vehicle just behind the engine. It should be square shaped and probably silver in color. You'll have to drain the transmission fluid first, then remove the pan itself. After that, you'll see the transmission filter as soon as you remove the pan. It will be almost the exact same size as the transmission pan itself. Some are replaceable, and some just need to be taken out and cleaned, and reinstalled.

Where do I fill gearbox oil on Hyundai accent 2002

There should be 2 plugs under the car on the side of the transmission that screw in/out with a wrench. The lower plug is for draining and the upper is for filling. Sorry, I don't have a picture

you have a power drain- something is wired directly to the positive terminal that is staying on after you shut the key off-it must be unhooked so that it will stop drawing juice from your battery-cheers Denny

Change Manual Transmission fluid

locate the drain plug on the bottom of the transmission. drain the oil into a pan. discard properly. replace the plug. do not over tighten. snug it then give it a good turn. locate the fill plug. usually on the side near the top of the drivers side trans. a fairly large head, screwed into the trans. it might even be marked. determine the type of lubricant you need. the part store will have that info. now for the tricky part. in my experience it is impossible to flll the trans without a hand pump or similar device. you might try running a tube from the fill hole through the engine compartment and attach a funnel. the pump is fairly inexpensive. $15-$20. warm the lubricant in a bath of hot water to aid in pumping or pouring. when the lube starts coming out of the fill hole it's full. you might also want to replace the gasket on the drain plug.

Where is the transmission pan on a 2001 accent

They do not have a regular trans. pan for sevice, but it has a drain plug underneath -- horizontally located facing the tire. It's pretty much in the centre of the transmission/axle.
Remove that to drain the fluid and it has a magnet in the drain plug -- clean that out before you put it back.
