the transmission will bolt up fine I think you may need a longer driveshaft as the 4l80 is a longer tranny. measure both transmissions and see for sure other than that should be an easy swap.
A turbo400 trans will bolt up but you will have to change the drive shaft as the output shaft is longer than the 350 trans. There will be no trans exchange with a different type that will fit without some modifications.
You need to get your tranny rebuilt. The motor that is already in your truck is set up for that Tranny so i wouldnt change it at all as it would cost alot more then you need to spend to do it. . I also would go to Mr.Transmission as they do great work on trannys.
Unfortunate all that is available for transmissions for the 1995 and 1996 aurora are the 1995 and 1996 year! The transmissions fron any other year are not compatible or interchangable on the 95-96 years!
Although the transmission may be siilar, the engine and supporting wiring harness, and control modules are not. This can be done, anything can, but it is probably more trouble than it's worth for a mini van. If this was a classic car then sure.
