Sounds like your IAC motor is getting stopped up. Clean out the passage, and the throttle body. If that doesn't work, get a new IAC motor.

SOURCE: 1988 Dodge Dakota brake line size question

they should be 3/16" but if you want to be sure, take a quarter inch wrench and put the open end over the line if it is sloppy on the line it is 3/16" , if it fits nicely, it is 1/4" . that is the only two sizes they could of used.

SOURCE: what is 3 5 5

The error code 355 is related to coil problem. 355 means Coil wire number 5 is not reaching peak current at the right time. The ignition coil has to be removed and checked. The connection between spark plug wire and coil needs to be checked. ------------ Keep updated if any more queries.Thanks.

I have a 1995 Dodge Dakota Sport two-wheel drive 3.9 it is thrown codes that is 32 5 5. Can you help me with this anyone?

Question moved to model category.

So the code is '32 5 5', or is it 32 AND 55, or 5.5 or 5 came up twice?

These are early OBD codes

I have a 1987 dodge Dakota, Ill drive it for about oh anywhere from 5-15 min. then it just stops running.

OK...an 87 Dakota is 30 years old now.....I'm guessing that there is something in your fuel system that is not letting the tank vent. Try driving the truck with the fuel cap loose or off and see if that helps...I think you may be drawing a vacuum on your fuel tank and it gets to the point where your tank pump can't push/pull any more fuel out of it. Try the above and see what happens...

I have a 1995 dodge dakota 4 cyl. and standerd trans. I just replaced the head gasket and it starts and runs great when it is cold but after running for a few min. it stumbles and has low power, it will...

have you done a back pressure test on the catalytic convertor? may have become clogged when the headgasket gave up. normally acts up after vehicle warms up and doesn't set an engine code.

92 dodge dakota 5.2 4x4 won't stay running, hard

What fault codes do you have? to check for fault codes using the check engine light blink method do the following, turn the key to run and then off, then to run and then off, then to run and watch the check engine light, count the blinks, there will be a pause and then more blinks, that is the code(s) So lets say it blinks 2 times and then 5 times, that is code 25. Google the code or codes under the heading: "Dodge OBD1 fault codes"
