1989 suburban 350 1/2 ton Engine starts fine and runs great but if it sits and idles for a time it seems to load up on fuel and runs rough even back fires for a time ,but when it finally gets up to speed ,3to5 miles on Interstate it will smooth out and run fine.
Have the converter checked it may be partially clogged

The converter and entire exaust system is new
Thanks but I have found the problem ,it seems that the vacume line from the intake to the breather had been lost when doing service .

1989 gmc 350 engine , not getting fire from coil to distrubtor
The engine runs rough and almost dies at all speeds but at times it runs fine
Ideals smooth, but runs rough and bogs down
