It is actually located behind the navigation screen.
Turn off the radio.
Press and hold the CD eject button until the display unlocks (about 10 to 15 seconds).
Let screen move outward and rotate downward.
Press the DVD eject button just exposed behind the display.
Remove DVD, insert new one.
Rotate display upwards and press gently on all four corners to slide and lock display back into original position.
Turn on radio, navigation DVD should start update process, let it finish.

Your Navigation disc usually is in the CD player. Most require the First Disc to be the Navigation disc. Now if this disc was removed or if someone changed the position of #1 disc and inserted something else, then that is why you have your message.
It is also possible that removing the Battery from the car may cause it to lose the programming in the Navigation. It may simply need the Navigation disc to be reread.
Your fan relay, located under the glove box on the right side has gone out. I just replaced mine, a 07. It's got a white bar type plug in on it and you will need some small 1/4" sockets to pull it out. just order one on line there under $30.00 and it will fix your problem .
The DVD for the navigation is not loaded into the 6 disc changer. Push the passenger seat all the way forward and up. Get in the back seat and you can access it from there. There is a cover that might need to be popped down.
