Toyota Highlander, the batttery takes a charge and the car will run, After it sits idle for 2-3 days the battery loses it's charge. I have checked and none of the lights are on. Any suggestions on what I should check next to see what is bleeding off the charge. Thanks

The battery could be failing... quick way to find out is if you are not using it for a few days is to unhook the battery... when you want to start it see if it starts... if not the battery is failing... also you could hook a multimeter between the positive battery terminal and the unplugged battery terminal... there should be a minisule draw on the battery for the radio but nothing more

New battery affecting idle?

Some car computers have to "relearn" after power has been disconnected. Take it out on a backroad away from traffic and drive it for a bit.....stop and go.....drive at different speeds....and see if that helps

The batery of my toyota highlander hybrid is too low; how can I conect other batery for to solve the problem?

You don't. If your battey is running low than run your car. A 2009 should not have a battery that is running low on charge. If the battery is not being charged by the charging system than bring the car back to the dealer from which you purchased it.

96 Dodge Ram suddenly had low bat power - hard start - runs poor

Any time the computer loses power it has to go threw a set of things to Learn how to run the car, it must go threw relearning process sometimes they never set all flags because you don't drive in conditions to set a flag, for example if you are in the desert and never drive up a hill like in Colorado then you would never meet that flag requirement, as for the low voltage it seems that the ASD shorts out on these rigs and sets the codes so you have to do a pin out of the computer to see if you have a bad ground a bad asd or asd relay and you would have to charge your battery to full capacity and do a voltage test and a load test on the battery and then see if the alternator is putting out.. Check the battery and charging system first.

2003 toyota highlander. when starting it wont maintain idle.

Try to adjust the idle of the truck because there is a possibility the idle is low and if still not work put the gear in neutral and then start it and step on the gas pedals for 20 sec.

1994 Jaguar xj6 battery loses all power after sitting idle 3 to 7 days. Shows normal charging rate. has new batt. all systems off except theft alarm. HELP!

you have a battery power drain.  Remove one fuse at a time until you find which circuit it's in.  This will take a while but it will find the problem and it's free.
