We have a 1995 BMW 525i. I need to replace some

My bmw dealer said that the Mass Air Flow Sensor needed to be replaced. The car would not run. It will start, idle. upon excelleration it chokes and dies. The "check engine" light is on. I disconnected the MAS and the car runs fantastic. SOOOO, I ordered a MAS and installed it. Reconnected the unit and the same problem occured. Is there a fuse relay under the hood or back seat that I can replace?

I have a 1997 bmw 540 i the driver seat wont move nor the stearing column does anyone know the problem to this or which fuse will fix the problem

Sounds like the fuse has blown. On these 5 series a single fuse controls both the steering colomn adjustment as well as the drivers seat adjustment.

In your glove box, either behind a panel or a drop down fuse fascia is fitted. The fuse your after is a 30a fuse in position 13. Normally a sheet with a labelled diagram will show you where fuse 13 is located. (Or just simply from left to right count 13 spaces!)

Hope this helps!

Almost all cars use 4 bolts to hold the seat to the floor boards. You maybe able to drill a new set of holes to move the seat back as required.  Remember to use lock washers and tighten the nuts tight as you don't want the seat to wobble.  Also some cars the pedal set adjustable in position

1993 BMW Front seat adjustments

i have all the info you need..had to do this on my brothers care...short answer is the cables stretch inside their housings.. once seat is removed you trim the casing around the cables 1/4 and reinstall the end caps on each one to make them match their paired partner cables..stupidest thing bmw ever did having two cables to control each movement causing the chairs to twist and buckle like at $1000 to have qualified service do it for you...
