Ther is no nav disc on a mygig.. its a loaded software disc. it contains the grace notes and nav info .. you can update it for free but you will have to burn your own disc with the iso of the nav data.. and to remove it just pull the trim ring off the shifter and then lift the bezel then remove the screws under the panel there are 2 of them then pull off the radio bezel.. the radio is held in with 4 screws.. this radio has no rca outputs on it it uses serial data to modules the rear enntertainment is digital signal sent to a module like rear dvd video and audio

Were is the nav disc

found this in a jeep forum

The navigation disc loads into the lower tray on the REC radio. A special tab needs to be pushed downward and pried outward to release the cover. The tab is located on the left side of the DVD tray

I have an 06 jeep commander and when I bought it it had no software installed in the nav. and it prompted me to install the disk. I bought an 05 disk and it will not take it because of there being a later...

there may be a way but nothing can be done without a ford scan tool, its like a computer with a newer version software and you try to install an older one,its always in the memory, so the nav must of had a program in it already, you may be able to use it if you could find a way to unlock it,

Can't locate the fuse cavity for the nav/radio on my 2007 jeep commander

there are alot of fuses that control radio/ nav system with a few computers, if you use a scan tool to scan computer it will give you codes of what is wrong, anyway here are the fuses i found, left side of engine compartment # 26 is one fuse then left side of dash theres another fuse/relay box and at #16 and #1 are two more fuses then there are more fuses for modules and computers than run that system, good luck hope this helps.

2006 Jeep Commander AWD 4.7 L. Navigation system is NOT WORKING

Its usually not the nav unit. Best way to find out many dealers have a demo nav disc ask them to pop it in if it works then u know the disc is at fault not the nav unit. The bad news it the disc costs about $300. Hope this helps please rate if it does.

2009 Saturn Outlook radio removal

start by carefully prying the woodgrain/brushed aluminum panel around the column shift upwards. Start at the rear, near the cubby. be very careful not to break it where the panel wraps around the drivers side of the shift indicator. when it is removed, you will see screws holding the next panel on (may be 7mm hex or philips - can't remember...) once removed, you can pry that section off as well exposing the radio and climate control screws. both have to come out to get the radio out. the XM portion is not in this radio, but is actually in the rear end of the truck behind the side panel on the driver's side. Be careful if you go poking around in there, because you may have a power inverter back there feeding 115v power to the center console (entertainment package).
