Best place to start is with a good repair manual. Haynes are really good. Check with any big bookstore. Check your owners manual or warranty book for a service schedule. Buy name brand parts. Compare parts prices with your dealer, they can be competitive. Craftsman tools are a good value. Check with parts store for specialty or rental tools. Make friends with a good mechanic. Good luck!

I need automotive repair manual for 2011 GMC Sierra 3500HD

Hello Ronald Jackman,

What you are looking for depends on your level of
commitment... and the Word "FACTORY"...

PROFESSIONAL mechanics use "workshop"...
(I myself was raised on "MOTORS" & "Mitchell"..

Frankly I don't know if they still survive...

I now MAKE A HABIT of buying the
MANUALS from the DEALERS when
I buy their cars
(old, opinionated & retired... I seriously don't trust dealers)

Most of my reading does not involve the SPECIALTY
TOOLS that currently FLOOD modern mechanics.

If you are looking for heap general information...
CHILTON or Haynes might be a better choice... but
I have saved BIG MONEY knowing how to
quickly & easily resolves issues MYSELF.

HAYNES... (some previously owned)

I would like to know who confidential informant #127 located in Park Hills Missouri is. Detective's names are Det. Sgt. Todd Inserra, Cpl. Richard McFarland, and Cpl. Tony Remshardt

First, this is not a Cars & Trucks question.
Second. The word CONFIDENTIAL means that the information is not to be released.
I suggest that you contact the law enforcement department involved.

Engine head

For a "casket" I would recommend contacting your local undertaker. If what you mean is that you want instructions on how to replace a cylinder head GASKET, then what you need is a service manual or a subscription to the service information for your vehicle. There is WAY too much information needed and the job is WAY too involved, for anyone to post it for free in an online forum. You are talking about MAJOR engine repair.

You might want to try subscribing to the service information for your vehicle at alldatadiy.com

Dealer Service Instructions for:
Customer Satisfaction Notification G41
Reprogram PTCM and Install Luggage Compartment
Warning Tag

Effective immediately Rapid Response Transmittal (RRT) 07-040 is cancelled
and all repairs on involved vehicles are to be performed according to this
notification. Those vehicles that have already had this repair performed, as determined by our warranty records, have been excluded from this notification.

Models

2008 (JS) Chrysler Sebring Convertible
NOTE : This notification applies only to the above vehicles built from August 31, 2007 through September 28, 2007 (MDH 083100 through 092821).

IMPORTANT : Some of the involved vehicles may be in dealer vehicle inventory. Dealers should complete this repair on these vehicles before retail delivery. Dealers should also perform this repair on vehicles in for service. Involved vehicles can be determined by using the VIP inquiry process.

Subject
The Power Top Control Module (PTCM) software on about 1,200 of the above
vehicles may deform the convertible top header motor gear(s) under certain
operating conditions. In addition, storing objects forward of the trunk cargo shield can damage the convertible top mechanism if the top is lowered. Either condition can cause the convertible top to become inoperative.

Repair

The Power Top Control Module must be reprogrammed and a luggage compartment warning tag must be installed.

Special Tools

Completion Reporting and Reimbursement
Claims for vehicles that have been serviced must be submitted on the
DealerCONNECT Claim Entry Screen located on the Service tab. Claims
submitted will be used by Chrysler to record Customer Satisfaction Notification service completions and provide dealer payments.

Use the labor operation number and time allowance shown.

Dealer Notification

All dealers will receive one copy of this dealer notification letter by mail. To view this notification on DealerCONNECT, select "Global Recall System" on the Service tab, then click on the description of this notification.

Owner Notification and Service Scheduling

All involved vehicle owners known to Chrysler are being notified of the service requirement by mail. They are requested to schedule appointments for this service with their dealers. A generic copy of the owner letter is included.

Enclosed with each owner letter is an Owner Notification postcard to allow owners to update our records if applicable.

Vehicle Lists, Global Recall System, VIP and Dealer Follow Up

All involved vehicles have been entered into the DealerCONNECT Global Recall System (GRS) and Vehicle Information Plus (VIP) for dealer inquiry as needed.
GRS provides involved dealers with an updated VIN list of their incomplete
vehicles. The owner's name, address and phone number are listed if known.
Completed vehicles are removed from GRS within several days of repair claim submission.

To use this system, click on the "Service" tab and then click on "Global Recall System." Your dealer's VIN list for each recall displayed can be sorted by: those vehicles that were unsold at recall launch, those with a phone number, city, zip code, or VIN sequence.
Dealers should perform this repair on all unsold vehicles before retail
delivery. Dealers should also use the VIN list to follow up with all owners to schedule appointments for this repair.

VIN lists may contain confidential, restricted owner name and address information that was obtained from the Department of Motor Vehicles of various states. Use of this information is permitted for this notification only and is strictly prohibited from all other use.
