I'm wondering if it's possible to fix a 2006 mitsubishi lancer evoltion ix at home in the garage or do i absolutely have to take it to the dealership? How do I go about changing the clutch out?

u need to get the cama set right and engine locked u really need some 1 that knows what doing alot aof money if udo it wrong or u can try evo lancer forums
i dont think so. most evo have different headlight shape than the ralliart, but my advice will be go to cardomain.com and look at evos or something or sign up and ask around. some very nice ppl on there for helpful info.
its the clutch. all evo VII comes with faulty clutch. just do some research over the internet and you will find out. its time for a stronger and better aftermarket clutch that can withstand all that heat it generates.
