My heat doesn't work in my 1998 ford explorer. the fan blows fine, but cool air some out , what could be wrong? I have checked under the hood for the blower, vaccum etc.
On your radiator hoses going to your heater there is a valve in the middle of one with a cable going to it. That isnt opening allowing hot water to enter your heat radiator. If you follow the vacuum hose it will lead to a ball of vacuums under the dash.Could be the vacuum hose going to that ball is leaking. Or the line coming out of the ball to the valve on the heater hose is leaking.
Add coolant to the radiator.
