Just had an engine place in my sentra, because there was water in the cylinders so car would tremble and check engine light was on. My is a 2004, the engine that put is a 2005 which does not a senor in the manifold so the check engine light came on again,my mechanic.Said he will place the manifold from the 2004 engine to the 2005 engine
In contrast, an exhaust manifold collects the exhaust gases from multiple cylinders into a smaller number of pipes - often down to one pipe. The primary function of the intakemanifold is to evenly distribute the combustion mixture (or just air in a direct injection engine) to each intake port in the cylinder head(s).

SOURCE: Dashboard and tail lights out on 97" Nissan Sentra
I took my pathfinder to U-HAUL and asked them to check the towing lights. There was a pinched wire by my tail light and they cut it and changed it out for me, it was $5. I am so glad that I didnt take it to Nissan. My second step was going to be getting a new dimmer switch..but the guy who worked on my car said that wouldnt be the problem. He also told me that replacing a fuse that kept blowing out was dangerous and after the first time to get it checked out. Learn something new every day!!
SOURCE: 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8s...SES light on. PLEASE HELP!
well if the head gasket has been replaced you shouldnt smeel any coolant. But have you check your coolant hoses???? for leaks or any coolant on the driveway, when your car has been sitting there overnight!???
SOURCE: MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON YESTERDAY BUT MY 2004 NISSAN SENTRA
hi, most of the time when these lights come on, its because of some sort of sensor failure. if you are not experiencing any noises or tapping in the engine compartment, this is only a failed sensor. you will have to get it diagnosed by the computer to know what specific sensor it may be. i suspect maybe a O2 sensor or egr valve. this is minor but, you Will need to get this repaired if possible.

difficult to diagnose withoutcar in front of me,best advice is what i said to another woman with a merc--get dolled up to nines and go to a local repair shop and start crying ,always works unless your unlucky enough to get a *** mechanic, and after 40yrs in trade their are not many *** mechanics that i have worked with, weird ones yes but ***?? Or take vehicle to nissan agent as the mechanics their will have product knowledge of the make and should be able to diagnose it in seconds. This is favourite of mine and that is if a particular model is playing up i will try to get into workshop to ask mechanics ,failing which i wait in local cafe at breakfast time and try to collar one their.
