you'll have to pull off the interior panel. window in the up position. on the lock cylinder there is a clip that you have to pull off and an arm that actuates the lock. pop the lock out. reverse to install.

SOURCE: geo prizm 95' engine light on - code 24 - air intake temp. sensor has no power

use an electrical tester with a sharp point tip, and poke through the coating into the wire at every 5".

this is the best wat to test the wiring.

SOURCE: 94 geo prizm cv joints gone bad.Was driving car

You didn't say if it was automatic or manual, but I think your problem is really your transmission. Put the wheels back on the ground, grab the shafts and try turning them. If they don't turn or move around excessively, you can safely eliminate the CV joints.

94 jeep something is draining my battery will key light on ignition drain my battery,,it stays on when not running, ?

So if your courtesy lamps are staying on after the vehicle is off, and all doors are closed, after 15 seconds, than i would look into your doors and see if one is not fully closing. Each door including the rear hatch have this little black button behind the body latch component. When the doors are fully shut the lights turn off after around 15 seconds, but if one door is not closed fully, than the lights do not shut off because the car does not know the door is fully shut

2003 Ford Explorer.....door adjar light won't go off, dome lights stays on unless manually turned off, key in ignation creates a dinging noise.

try spraying the latch mechanism with a spray lubricant and open/close the door many times-the sensor is on the door latch (not the 'button") and it is a common problem on fords as the get older. do both doors, spray heavily, and open/close at least a dozen times or more.

The door adjar lights stay on, and the dome lights stay on when the doors are all shut.

One of the switches that gets pressed in by the closed door is bad.

Door adjar warning light stays on. Dome and cargo light stays on.

You need to remove the door ajar sensors from the doors and clean and lube them. You must remove the interior door panel then remove the door latch. Then twist the switch out of the latch to work on it.

04 EXPLORER DOME LIGHT STAYS ON, DOOR ADJAR LIGHT ON, DOOR JAMB SWITCHES WORKING PROPERLY.

At least one of your door ajar switches are sticking. Try spraying rust penetrant into the latches and open and close the doors several times. If they still stay on you will have to locate which latch it is by removing the door panels and disconnecting the switches.

Driver door sensor reads door adjar when door is closed and interior lights stay on

The sensor is in the door jam. Remove it unplug the wires and test it with a multimeter. If the reading doesn't change when you depress the plunger replace it. If it test good you have a bad wire.

The light stays on. 2001 fordf 250 the door adjar light stays on.

Try shooting some WD40 in the door latch assembly on the side of the door then open and close the doors several times. Most of the time this will un-stick the door ajar switch.
