My 1995 Nissan Pathfinder has some electrical problems.

The taillights, the dash lights, the backup lights and front marker lights all work intermittently while the headlights are both okay. All the bulbs for these lights are fine: they all work. It's just that there seems to be an interruption in the power to these lights. I've checked the fuses, the wiring and the bulbs. There are no obvious loose connections or unsupported harnesses that would cause me to think there is a rubbing wire causing a ground. What do I check next? Could this be a faulty PCM? Signed Tony C.

sorry, the solution is so general and wide in scope that it wasn't helpful. I already knew that.

It could be a faulty PCM or just a loose connection from it.
Sadly, you have much more harness wiggling to go through before you end up at a repair shop.
good luck.

SOURCE: Marker lights do not work. 1994 nissan pickup SE

I would start by checking all the fuses, then check the headlight switch, test it for power as you did the tail light, then check the wiring coming out of the cab down the frame to the rear of bed check for a short but if all fuses are good then will not be a short, may be a bad switch and the most important is the bulbs, make sure they are good.

The 4 corner marker lights on my 1995 nissan pathfinder are on constant and the battery drained. Which fuse controls the marker lights. Why would they be on with the car not running? Looking for help

Is there a switch on the dash somewhere that turns the hazard warning lights on an off? If it is left on and the car is turned off, the hazard lights will continue to flash on some vehicles until the battery runs dead. This is in case your car dies on the highway and you need to leave them on as a warning but you need to get out of the vehicle in case someone runs into it. On some vehicles if you press the switch it latches in the on position and needs to be pressed again to turn them off.

Check any trailer light splices. check bulbs somtimes they can short internally.
If the truck has been in any collisions in the past, take a look at the effected area. front park lights are aleo included on that circuit
