Jeep Squeals when 20 MPH until car at temp

Since it got cold my 04 Grand Cherokee squeals when I reach 20 mph on up. About 5 minutes after reaching temp it will often stop squealing. Speed or revving the engine seems to have no effect on the squeal, it is a constant sound level. I took it in and had the belt replaced with no effect other than it needed it. I just reached 80k miles. I am wondering what it could be? Trans fluid being too cold to lube parts? (we have hit sub zero temps a lot this winter). Tranny going bad? A Sensor?

Oil Pressure is good. All fluids are full. It only happens till it warms up to about 1/4 - 1/2 of temp gauge. No shifting issues (not rough or late in shifting). No pinging or knocking. Everything runs beautifully except that squeal when I hit about 20. It does sound like it is coming from the engine compartment.

Hi, check your pulley bearings, but if you have had the belts checked the mechanic should have picked up on that.

SOURCE: Loud squealing sound in my engine

Try removing the belt and turning each pulley by hand. If everything is smooth and free, with the belt still off, drive down the block once and see if the noise is there (this will eliminate all rotating accessories on the front). If you hear the noise, then there is a problem deeper inside. Oil pressure is good? Dont' forget when doing this, you will have no power steering, so be careful.

SOURCE: 96 jeep cherokee 4.0 automatic has very high revs

The condition you reported is either a control problem or "flaring" both are pressure related. I suggest you have a reliable trans shop test drive it. If it's a control problem (late shifting) there are external adjustments that can be made. If it is flaring, that is internal and may require a rebuild.

SOURCE: my 1999 jeep cherokee belt squeals very loud when

If you get the squealing noise even when car is not running, and if noise get louder when you push the accelerator pedal, then it is the serpentine belt.

You may need to put the belt in tension, or to replace it.

2004 Pontiac Sunfire drive cycle

Playing out a drive cycle subsequent to supplanting an O2 sensor and exhaust system assists the vehicle's PC framework with relearning and recalibrate. Here are the general advances you can follow for a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire:

Cold Beginning: Guarantee the motor is cold. Turn over the motor and let it inactive for 2 minutes.

Inactive: Put the vehicle in "Drive" and inactive for 2 minutes with the A/C on (if prepared).

Speed up: Advance rapidly to 55 mph at half choke and keep up with speed for 10 minutes.

Decelerate: Slowly decelerate to 20 mph without utilizing the brake pedal.

Stop: Reach a stand-still and inactive in "Drive" for 2 minutes.

Speed up Once more: Advance quickly to 55 mph at half choke and keep up with speed for 5 minutes.

Stop Once more: Reach a stand-still and inactive in "Drive" for 2 minutes.

City Driving: Drive at 25 mph for 5 minutes, then, at that point, at 45 mph for 5 minutes, making a point to differ speed and burden.

Pause and Inactive: Reach a stand-still and inactive in "Drive" for 2 minutes.

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited The speedometer does not start moving until it reaches 35-40 mph. All other gauges on the instrument panel are working fine. Any ideas?

scan the PCM OBD2 jack for VSS sensor errors or others.
Veh, speed, sensors.
is this automatic or stick shifted
no engine told.
is it 4wd or 2wd
VSS is in different places 2wd/4wd
VSS on some cars now is ABS sensors.
so do you see ABS errors/

How can I fix a 96 jeep grand Cherokee with 4.0 has rough idle and is hesitant until it reaches operating temp. but sets no codes?

Check the condition of spark plugs, if dirty or oily could be the timing gear or timing, wouldn't show a code, if plugs are white suggests lack of fuel, also no code . ( injector cleaner and ethanol remover for the latter ). Repair shop for timing.
