I have a 1983 Ford Mustang with a 5.0 Liter engine. One of the rocker arms is not getting any oil. Does anyone know what the problem could be?
Fig. 2: Rocker arm assembly - 5.0L and 5.8L engines
* Apply engine oil or assembly lubricant to the valve stem tip and
pushrod end. Also apply lubricant to the rocker arm and fulcrum seat
contact surfaces.
* Rotate the crankshaft until the lifter is on the camshaft base
circle (all the way down) and install the rocker, fulcrum seat and
fulcrum bolt. Tighten the bolts to 18-25 ft. lbs. (24-34 Nm).
* Install the rocker arm cover(s).

I pulled the intake off and inspected the push rod,it was ok.I then removed the lifter and it was frozen.
Thanks
Leefter problem, Change the oil filter and the oil, see if gets any better, if not You my have a bad leafter, is tough to replace it, you have to take the intake manifold out to get to the leafters, they are hydraulic
