It has always been my experience that the dash has failed ,however there are some very clever electronics people that may be able to repair them ,I guess the thing to do is ring around and see what comes from it

I have a 2004 E320 and it says on the dash board "front passenger airbag off". How dod I turn this back on?

is this light on all the time or just when there is something/someone in the seat? usually if there is below a certain weight in the seat the airbag wont deploy, something like 100lbs? although im not sure about this weight in mercedes. if i place something heavy such as a bag on the seat in my bmw the dashboard light comes on. not sure if this helps?

Sprinter gear selector

This is the gear linkages. It is a cable operated system to allow the gear lever to be dash mounted.

They are a common fault. The parts are about £65 from Mercedes (dealer only part) and unless you know what you are doing you can expect about 2 - 3 hours labour charge, though there are no special tools involved.

They average about 60,000 miles, though the replacements tend to be better.
