There are plastic bushings on the end of the actuator rods inside of the door. These are known to go bad and need replaced. Parts are available in the HELP section of most any national parts chain store. You just need to remove the door panel to access the failed part and make the repairs.
take a shop towel and pull it under the crank handle. then rotate rag to snag clip. it will fly off so keep an eye out for it. to reinstall put clip on handle then simlply push it back on
the radio....u can take the wiring clip off its ok n the window.....u gotta push the panel in n the clip is like a u push both ends out to push it back evenly then just pull the handle out
if you pull out on the window crank just a little you can see the clip get a skinny flat head and push one end of the clip it will fall on the floor so dont lose it then the crank will slide off you should be able to get it from there
tools:
philip head screw driver,
flat head screw driver
metric socket std and deep.
rachet metric or 3/8 driver with a adaptor.
socket extension.
lower the windows.
look for small plastic cover on the door handle and door pull, pop the cover with a samll flat head screw and loosen the screws with philip head screw driver.
pull the in side panel from the button of the door panel with the help of screw driver and along the sides.
push the inside panel up wards to clear the glass. and disconnect any of the electric wiring. and left the panel out of the way.
take the window switch from the door pnael and roll up the windows.
peel down th inside water seal.
you should be able to get to the mounting screws for the mirror.
put thin piece of cloth between window crank, twist it around, turn window crank up and down, then pull thin piece of cloth away from the round spinable crank ball (piece you hold) this shud remove interior hidden C clip. try again if you dont succeed. those tools they sell wont fit and will scratch the door panel. I am having probs in removing the door handle and lock mechanism... removed screw, yet still attched. grrrr
STOP!!! there is no need to break the inner door handle!!! The inner door handle is secured in place with three prongs yes, but they do not need to be broken to remove it. They are secured by inserting them into place and sliding back. To remove simply slide forward and pull out.
This takes some wiggling but it will come eventually. also take note that this should be done after removing all screws and loosening and unhooking the door panel itself. To get the panel off around the inner handle, turn the panel 90deg and slide the handle back through its opening.
Good Luck
