Be aware that you must choose a radio that is compatible with the trucks electronics or you will have electrical issues, don't cut the wires, use a plug and play adapter harness, you can get them plus info on the type radio you need from www.Crutchfield.com
Car Radio Battery Constant 12v+ Wire: Yellow/Red
Car Radio Accessory Switched 12v+ Wire: Run a wire to the steering column and use the dark blue/pink wire in the ignition switch harness.
Car Radio Ground Wire: Black/Orange

Speaker Positive Wire (+): Gray/Violet
Left Front
Speaker Negative Wire (-): Gray/Yellow
Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Dark Green/Violet

ok,battery tip top,alternator is up to date,battery fuse has been changed,still the battery has a power drain when steering....can anyone be so kind to post me a insight as i am still on high water,thx
we sorted the radio prob:it was a loose wire at the backNoise when steering still there...mmm they talking about turbo replacement...checked the oil...its at right level.. they have removed already the dpf,replaced alternator,so it s not a lose alternator and it s not a blockage of the dpf......looks to me that they do want to cash in again.....what could be possibly the cause to it??? Pls help
