This started a fee weeks ago. When I start the car there is a grinding. noise. It idols fine but as I drive it will start hesitating. It usually does this when I hit 45 mile per hour and above. It does not do it all the time, and when it does it is mostly only a slight jerking but at times it will do a major jerk then drive fine for awhile. Is it the fuel filter or something major?

Check the fuse to the injector. If it is out or got wet, it could mimic these conditions. let me know what happens. I have an 85 model.

Change the the O2 senor on the catalytic convert. Its probably dead.
